What is the LED Wall Planner?

Calculates an idealised LED raster from wall dimensions and nominal pixel pitch. It also reports pixel density, area, aspect ratio, and total pixel count.

Real walls are assembled from discrete cabinets and modules, so the supplier's actual cabinet raster and mapping remain authoritative.

Real-World Use Cases

Useful for early stage sizing, comparing rental options, and preparing questions for the LED supplier and render team.

It does not determine processor saturation or render-node count because those depend on the actual processor, mapping, redundancy, frusta, content, and GPU workload.

Technical Methodology

Divides each physical wall dimension in millimetres by nominal pitch, rounds to whole pixels, and multiplies the two pixel dimensions for the idealised total.

Moiré depends on the LED pixel structure and scan, camera sensor, lens, focus, angle, distance, shutter, and processing. Establish acceptable camera positions with the real wall and camera chain.
