broadcast.tools is live
The reviewed GitHub release is now live through Cloudflare Pages at broadcast.tools, with the apex domain as the canonical public address and HTTPS active for both apex and www. Tools, Guides, Cool Tools, and experimental Beta builds now share the dedicated site.
Launch work included one-hop legacy redirects, repaired technical source links, mobile touch-target improvements, and the realtime Emergency Graphics transport needed for a normal browser control page to drive an OBS Browser Source. The calculator regression suite passed 13/13, and the Emergency Graphics EMPTY, TAKE, CLEAR, and reload workflow was confirmed in real OBS.
Final repository polish before staging
Completed a multi-viewport mobile pass, tightened navigation and cookie controls, moved key tools closer to their first action, and added a searchable Tools hub. The IP worksheet now focuses on ST 2110 active-image capacity, while NDI planning remains in the dedicated NDI Network Planner.
SuperSource XML is now labelled as a draft requiring model/version validation, and Emergency Graphics is discoverable from Cool Tools as a tool built by broadcast.tools. No production publishing or infrastructure change is part of this milestone.
Emergency Graphics Layer added to the repository
Added a browser-based control/output pair for lower thirds, status labels, and timers. Real OBS/vMix browser-source behavior and cross-tab state still require external validation before the tool can be treated as show-ready.

Reference, beta, and software sections reorganized
Added the AV Sync Reference Loop as a subjective flash-and-beep aid, not a calibration instrument. Moved Studio Production Clock and Companion Quick Builder into Beta Builds.
Expanded Cool Tools with repository pages for CasparCG, Node-RED, Wireshark, TouchDesigner, and Streamer.bot.
Unreliable A/V Sync Calibrator removed
Removed the A/V Sync Calibrator rather than preserve a pseudo-instrument that could not justify its result. The removed tool must not be reintroduced. Added the OBS Audio Sync Explained guide to support measured, workflow-based troubleshooting.

Companion Quick Builder prepared as a beta
Added an experimental layout-building surface around supported module/action concepts. Import compatibility with current Companion releases remains an external validation item; the repository does not claim a verified direct-production export.

Broadcast.tools identity and technical audit prepared
Updated repository branding and canonical intent from the earlier JEM Productions identity to broadcast.tools. This entry does not assert that DNS or production hosting changed on that date.
Audited calculator assumptions and guide language, repaired identifiable math and unit issues, and made estimated/model-based outputs more explicit. Later trust reviews removed unsupported hardware presets, pseudo-diagnostics, blanket “pro” wording, and other claims that could not be defended.
Audio reference and genlock/timecode content expanded
Added browser visualisers, routing controls, and listening-oriented sweep behavior to Audio Test. Expanded the Genlock vs Timecode explanation while preserving the distinction between timing synchronization and time labels.

Contact and navigation work prepared
Added the current Contact form integration and reorganized homepage/navigation content. Web3Forms delivery, privacy behavior, and production-domain configuration are external validation tasks, not repository guarantees.

OBS/vMix and SuperSource work began
Expanded streaming-planning controls and added a visual SuperSource layout draft. Generated SuperSource XML remains a reviewable fragment that must be tested on the exact ATEM model and software version.

Calculator collection expanded
Added video bitrate and latency conversion work to the repository. Later audits refined their assumptions and removed the separate A/V Sync Calibrator when it failed the product trust bar.
